Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate

Common name: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

Derived from: Coconut oil or palm oil

Function: Surfactant, detergent

Purpose: SDS helps break down oils and dirt by reducing surface tension, allowing water to mix with grease and oils for effective cleaning.

Polyvinyl Alcohol

Common name: PVA

Derived from: Ethylene and acetic acid

Function: Binds the laundry sheet together

Purpose: PVA helps form a thin film, often used in coatings. It can also act as a thickener or stabilizer.

Edible Corn Starch

Derived from: Plant oils (coconut, palm or soy)

Function: Humectant, moisturizer
Purpose: Glycerin attracts moisture, preventing drying and keeping the laundry sheets pliable and smooth.

Alkyl Ethoxy Polyglycosides

Common name: APG

Derived from: Plant-based fatty alcohols (from coconut or palm) and glucose (from corn or wheat)

Function: Non-ionic surfactant
Purpose: Mild surfactant derived from natural sources that cleans without being harsh. It’s biodegradable.

Poly(Laurylglucoside)-7

Common name: Lauryl Glucoside

Derived from: Coconut oil and glucose

Function: Surfactant, emulsifier
Purpose: A gentle, plant-derived surfactant that enhances foam and cleanses the skin or surfaces.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Common name: Coco Betaine

Derived from: Coconut oil

Function: Amphoteric surfactant
Purpose: A mild foaming agent that reduces irritation caused by other surfactants. It stabilizes foam.

Lauramidopropylamine Oxide

Common name: Amine Oxide

Derived from: Coconut oil or palm oil

Function: Foam booster, surfactant
Purpose: Enhances foam stability and provides additional cleansing power.

Trisodium Citrate

Common name: Sodium Citrate

Derived from: Citrus fruits

Function: Chelating agent, pH regulator
Purpose: Binds metal ions to improve stability and prevents product degradation over time.

PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate

Common name: PEG Cocoate

Derived from: Coconut oil and ethylene glycol

Function: Emollient, surfactant
Purpose: A moisturizing agent that also acts as a mild cleanser. It reduces the drying effect of surfactants.

Fatty Acids (C12-18, A-Sulfo, 1-Me Esters, Sodium Salts)

Common name: Fatty Acids

Derived from: Palm or coconut oil

Function: Surfactant
Purpose: These fatty acid derivatives act as detergents and cleansing agents.

Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine

Common name: Hydroxysultaine

Derived from: Coconut oil

Function: Foam booster, surfactant
Purpose: A mild surfactant that helps create dense, stable foam and reduces skin irritation.
